• Ensure all Brownfield works are fully captured by the Contractor in their Brownfield Modification Plan, Tie-In List, schedules and other documents. • Ensure the Brownfield SOW is fully resourced to complete as per schedule. • Consult with the Operations Manager Representative on all major decisions regarding schedule, safety, PTW and others for SIMOPS. • Ensure detail planning is completed and manpower and other resources are available to complete the required Works during the designated periods of shutdown • Undertake construction site surveys to support the ongoing project and provide constructability inputs. • Review and check construction feasibility and method statement to support realistic schedules for construction activities. • Review and check that site safety procedures and construction procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of HSE • Reviews and checks that site quality plan and quality procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of quality. • Establish a good working relationship and communications with the Contractors engineering and production personnel. • Maintain good communications with the Operation Group in the Company’s and Contractor’s organizations. • Participate in the resolution of design/ construction related issues and follow through to implementation at site. • Review and identify critical execution issues, and assists with the overall schedule and the construction execution plan.
• Supervise the Marking up commissioning P&ID, split up the sub systems to be able for final pressure test and issue it to subcontractor to prepare the test packs. • Develop and maintain system pressure test boundaries. • Punch list and test pack review and Hydro/ Pneumatic testing planning and frequently witnessing system completions. • Work with contractors to develop a detailed plan for the complete and efficient pressure test of systems. • Work with Engineering, Construction and Start-up to ensure the physical and documentation requirements for the test packs of systems is defined, understood and agreed by all concerned. • Act as a liaison between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up during pressure test and handover of systems. • Maintain the test packages from construction to the time of turnover of the project to the client. • Make any modification required according to any problem in isometric and/or P&ID.
• Coordinates daily construction activities of direct hire forces and contractors. • Participate in the preparation of weekly construction schedules for all work forces. Coordinates same with contractors in weekly planning meetings, reports minutes of meeting to Site Manager. • Participating Handover meeting to generate 3 weeks look-ahead plan and attending site progress meetings to provide proper feed-back and recommend recovery plan. • Organize and direct the site supervisors and contractor forces to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. • Ensure work of contractors is carried out safely and efficiently in a competent manner and they adhere to the Permit to Work System. • Ensure safety and security of all construction activities and workers under control. • Assist contractor with the preparation of safe work procedure, method statement and risk assessment to meet permit to work requirements. • Resolve contractor raised queries in conjunction with Engineering group. • Assist in the resolution of interface problems with other contractors and/ or differnent disciplines. • Ensure costs and budget are controlled and site instructions monitored during work progress. • Ensuring the corrective action is agreed and implemented at the appropriate level where variation from plans occur and provide technical advice or guidance in order to avoid unnecessary risk and delay in project works. • Supervising all activities at site and/ or workshop and reporting the progress to the management. • Act as a liaison between Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Material department to ensure that the material is available and sent to site in a timely manner. • Ensuring all punch items are resolved and hand over to the client with full satisfaction without prolongation of the project. • System mechanical completion (MC), reinstatement and system turn over to commissioning group.
