Who has emerged from training and practical hands on experience, enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and professional team. I am quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and to develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: • Securing the Exploration & Drilling operations of several Oil & Gas Operator Companies (HESS, BG, GDF SUEZ …) during their campaigns. • Train and prepare Oil spill response Centre staff for several successful Drilling & Exploration securing operations during working with PESCO & IEMS - Tier 2 Oil Spill response companies. • Participated in several oil spill drills & Exercises occupying different roles (e.g. member in the Survey team, planning section head in the Crisis Management Team & Team Leader in the Emergency Response Team). • Involved in several real major response oil spill Incidents (Tanker Grounding – Ships collision - Bunkering operations – Pipeline breakage). On Secondment from PESCo to ADNOC. The ADNOC Crisis Management Centre is the focal point for crisis management and emergency preparedness across the ADNOC Group of companies. Responsible for: Implement the ADNOC Incident Command System (ICS). Ensuring the preparedness & readiness of the centre to respond to all emergency notifications. Participate as a core member of the emergency support team during incidents. Develop the Centre Database: operating companies’ facility response plans, capabilities… Key team member for Abu Dhabi Emirate Emergency Preparedness Tactics Support. Key team member for ADNOC Dispersant Management (Application & Stockpile). Instruction for new Centre operators. Define training needs & Course Preparation. I got the ADNOC HSE AWARD in year 2008 for the achievements in the Oil Spill Response Preparedness Tactics Support Project.
in one of the five Oil Spill Response Centers – PESCo (Alexandria, Suez, Hurghada, Ras Gharib & Sharm El Sheikh), the centers owned by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation - EGPC & under management of Petro Environmental Services Company - PESCo. Responsible for: Ensure full compliance with company Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental policies. Support and advice on proper implementation of HSE management as follows: Risk Assessment & Management, Safe Job Analysis (SJA), Work permit, incident reporting and recording, incident investigation, HSE meetings, Certification of equipment. Participate as a core member of the emergency support team during incidents.
