I was responsible for the planning and project control of the unique DMC project, covering both engineering and procurement phases. My main contributions include: - Comprehensive planning and project control for engineering and procurement activities. - Detailed planning for the Storage Tanks Unit. - Managing and monitoring the entire procurement process from Material Requisition (MR) to Purchase Order (PO). - Re-planning and effective rescheduling of the DMC project twice to adapt to updated requirements. - Preparing monthly look-ahead reports for upcoming tasks and activities. - Issuing regular procurement progress reports (MR to PO) and monthly project status reports. - Preparing and submitting progress reports and interim payment certificates. - Sending performance and progress reports directly to the Project Manager. - Maintaining close communication and coordination with all vendors and manufacturers to closely track and expedite their individual project progress. - Expediting a wide range of equipment and packages: Cathodic Protection, NGR, Air Coolers, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Pipe racks, GRP piping/fittings, Valves, Air Compressor Packages, Pumps, Instrumentation, Safety items, Cranes, HVAC, and many others. My involvement continued until the project achieved 90% overall progress.
