I moved to Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman where I’m currently employed as a Sr. Applications Engineer for Oil services company OHI-OPES. I’m a desk engineer at our clients premises where I lead our field teams while communicating with client so we can together achieve our contracts KPIs while providing full technical support, designs, and introducing new technologies for Beam pumping ALS. Recently in 2022, also assigned as training instructor and as a consultant for Artificial Lift & Production Engineering for our clients. Previously I was employed in Petrodara-Transglobe in Egypt as a Senior Petroleum Engineer and the PDMS Project Leader where I was in charge of training the team, coordinating and leading the team to generate our reports and analysis in a timely manner for our management and the EGPC in addition to my Petroleum Engineering duties. • Design, Optimization and Application of Beam Lift & PCP systems including down hole pumps, rod string, surface pumping unit and beam lift related equipment. • Co-ordinate and manage all interfaces in Day to Day operations and manage whole Beam Lift & PCP processes from design to data management. • Management prioritization for Day to Day operations & technical responses for the field team while maintaining close contact with field staff via regular phone conferences and personal visits. • Review & Analysis for Pulled pump’s Tear Down Reports relative to well conditions and data then identifying Root Cause of Failure while proposing future considerations and recommendations. • Review and analyze down hole data and the weekly monitoring report to timely alert on the potential implications to the key parties for corrective actions. • Review and validate the input design data including complete design then seeking key personnel approval for planning & execution. • Updating Company Data Base associated with the management of the Beam Lift wells through creating simplified file templates to summarize complex data. • Participate in the update of the Rig activity plan by providing the failure statistics and ensuring proper stocking and crew availability. • Communicate directly with Production Technologists (PT), Well Engineering and Programmers for all required physical and production /pressure information on Beam Lift wells. • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Company Policies, including those on Business Ethics, Safety, Quality Assurance and Environment. • Maintain, update and report the Contract KPI’s then plan for Quarter reviews and presenting them annually. • Review and sign off on the final quotations in order to turn the quotation into a customer order. • As instructor for Basic & Advanced Beam Pump training for our clients, providing tailored material to match the operations and applications used by the clients for in-depth knowledge and ALS fundamentals.

ALS PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMP (PCP): Petrodara is the first Company to install PCP ALS in Egypt (2011) and was the majority of Operational activity & experiences with PCP Installations. PCP/ESPCP design, optimization and lift capacity selection using C-FER’s PC-Pump. Elastomer compatibility selection and evaluation for Autoclave testing results against reservoir and well conditions. PCP installation supervision, bore scoping, pump bench testing and troubleshooting. Evaluating the retrieved PCPs based on Test Bench and Bore scoping results relative to the pump running history. ALS BEAM PUMPING (RRL/SRRP): RRL design and optimization using RodStar V/D software with a continuous follow up with well conditions and changes relative to the well's IPR and surface deferements. Pump selection for gas handling, sand production and evaluating the wells for the application of Gas Shield/Separator, Gas Breaker, Anchor Catcher and Sand Trap. Dynaometer Recording and evaluating the Dyna Cards. Sucker Rods evaluation & selection. Pump inspection for retrieved pumps and evaluating them for re-installation after re-dressing for savings or if not applicable.
