- The goal: make things work ! - The love: being a key contributor and architect to some new exciting products. - The field: developing the architecture of products where electronics, firmware and software meet. - How: work in a creative environment where the User experience challenges can be solved by a solid teamwork, brilliant ideas and lots of iterative prototyping/testing.
Managing the User features and experience driving the SW for the recently released (oct 2024) MX creative console and its plugin ecosystem. Responsible for the requirements, stories, priorities and working with team to meet the deadline and user requirements.
Exploring new product concepts for "MX" advanced users. Using fast prototyping, iterative Design thinking approach and working on a modular architecture to allow faster development cycles. Ultimately reaching the goal of putting new novel products in the hands of users all over the world.
On the footsteps of the team's work over the previous 2 years, I've taken the role of managing the SW team (multisite, 6 people) active in the AR&VR domain at logitech. This includes choosing and setting up the tools for the team (Unity, MS VS, Slack, Gitlab, ...), define the best workflows (git), discuss code guidelines and procedures and making sure everybody is aligned and focused on priorities. Reporting to the team head the status, issues and choices as well as and find new ways to reduce time spent in meeting and augment productivity and fun while working. Also working on some projects as individual contributor (C++ SW and C firmware).
Defined the product architecture based on CSR family of Multimedia chips, such as BC5MM and CSR8670. Especially focused on the MULTI-HOST feature that is used on the Logitech UE Boombox. Worked closely with CSR's Cambridge team to drive specifications and followup development of the Wireless Stereo feature (Logitech UE Boom) up to production level.
Codman is part of Johnson & Johnson group. worked as Manufacturing Senior engineer: involved in the development of test equipment for electronics testing and manufacturing lines. Validation of processes, GMPs and Quality ensurance.
Founder of the startup, Managed the marketing aspects, such as creating and developing the corporate identity (logo, brochure, wesbsite, marketing materials, reports) and management of all corporate public relations, as well as part-time development engineer.
Worked in the ASL lab (autonomous system lab, robotics) for the development of automonous robots used and presented during the EXPO.02 swiss national exhibition. This was as the date, the biggest deployment of autonomously navigating robots. Was in charge of the technical development, testing and maintenance of two modules of the robot: the speech synthesis system (TTS) as well as the capacitive touch buttons that allowed to interact with the robot.
