Management • Part of medical product quality reviews • Regulatory Affairs • Assist in Roles assigned by Afrox area manager in designing and managing systems to improve efficiency. • Deputise Technical Manager • Oversees Afrox technical services for Special Products. • Identifying Capital needs for new equipment and instruments. Justification of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) • Appointed QA Signatory • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, Afrox and Linde QA standards through monitoring activities. • Implement, manage, maintain and refine the external certification of the ISO quality and safety systems e.g. ISO 9001-2000, ISO 17025, • Develop and implement appropriate QA training within the GOC site, to support effective implementation of the site and business QA agenda. • Support the production site (GOC) and the business in ensuring compliance in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the medical gases business. • Write Recipes/formulation for new MTO orders and ensure availability of analysis methods and raw materials before issue (ETAs). • Ensure that the analytical scope covers the range of MTO recipes by Method Development and available analytical instruments. • Create BOMS • Perform trending and analysis of quality related incidents or complaints from customers to root causes and develop preventative action plans. • Design and establish monitoring and measuring processes for quality performance targets. • Research and Monitor legislation and external trends that may impact on quality practices, • Identify and implement Best Operating Practices (BOP) for Quality Assurance in conjunction with the latest technological and ISO standard developments. • Develop QA action plans in conjunction to ensure effective and efficient quality processes are in place. • Implements QA systems for the performance of Method Validations, Proficiency Testing and SPC.
Oversee daily operations of the Food & Beverage Analysis Job duties include, but are not limited to: preparing samples; collecting and distributing samples; testing production samples; calibrating standard lab instruments; recording and interpreting test results; verifying sufficient inventory of testing supplies; maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory environment; and participating in all safety programs.
