About

Tired of the plateau? I'm an Intrapreneur at Google Cloud and a builder at heart. I spent 13 years at Microsoft scaling Azure and coach high-performers to master their next big breakthrough. ๐ŸŽฏ LEADING VALUE & CULTURE @ GOOGLE I'm the Director of Enterprise New Business at Google Cloud, Canada. Our team's focus is simple: cut through the noise to deliver massive, quantifiable value to Canadian businesses. We lead efforts to help these companies fully capitalize on Googleโ€™s cloud portfolio, from AI, Agents, and Cloud Native innovation to modern Security solutions. My daily priority is to cultivate a culture of clarity, energy, and empathy that empowers our team to solve our customers' biggest puzzles. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ BUILDER, PIVOTER & MENTOR (MY SYSTEM) My passion is applying a proven frameworks to help people and companies thrive by designing their path and building momentum. My expertise is rooted in real-world building and acceleration: - The Intrapreneur: I spent 13 years at Microsoft leading sales and strategy across massive, complex businesses like Azure, HoloLens, and Security. I scaled the Azure business from $100M to over $400M and drove global best practices. - The Entrepreneur: I founded and successfully ran an event marketing company, Volv, growing it to $400k in annual revenue before its successful exit. - The Host: I am the former host of the 'Pitch Please' podcast, where I celebrated and learned from Canadian startups and innovators. I leverage this hands-on experience to help clients and teams break career ruts, launch businesses, and master pivots with advice on everything from innovation strategy to defining their fulfillment portfolio. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ BEYOND THE OFFICE (WHAT FUELS THE WORK) I thrive on bringing people together and am energized by building anything from a new business model to something with my hands. When I'm not focused on tech, I'm often outdoors: I love camping, hiking, and exploring. I'm a serious car enthusiast and love chasing the latest tech innovation. I also love to travel but fully rely on my wife (the expert planner) since I am directionally challenged and rely fully on Google Maps. ๐Ÿค LETโ€™S CONNECT (READ THIS FIRST) I love connecting with people and welcome you to follow my updates for content on innovation, leadership, and building momentum. If you'd like to send a connection request, please make it personalized and original. Show me you can cut through the noise! While I thrive on connection, generic requests usually get lost in my directionally-challenged inbox.

  • Co-Founder & Strategy Lead at Helpers
    Jan 2020 - Dec 2022 ยท 3 yrs

Helpers is an app that enables Canadians in need of on-demand non-medical home care services and assistance to get qualified care aides to come to their home. The increasing population of elderly Canadians or those with chronic conditions and disabilities has placed unprecedented demand on our public and private care systems. COVID-19 has exposed various gaps in the care and services provided today, putting many Canadianโ€™s at risk. That is why now more than 91% of Canadians want to stay in the comfort of their own homes when receiving care. Additionally, the limited availability of publicly funded services has left over 36% of Canadians with partially met or unmet needs. The rigid nature of our public and private home care systems does not meet the needs of Canadians and is putting increased pressure and stress on family and friends who are considered informal caregivers today. That's why we created Helpers. For those that are looking for access to on demand home care for themselves or loved ones, but not ready to commit to ongoing scheduled care. Helpers allows you to request home care only when needed, all in the comfort of their own homes. Helpers is on a mission to get Canadians the care they need when they need it.
