I am a dedicated and driven individual with a passion for public service and government. Currently, I am serving as an intern in the Indiana Governor’s Office, where I’m gaining firsthand experience in the operations of the executive branch. From policy research to supporting key staff with day-to-day responsibilities, I’ve had the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of how state government functions and the meaningful impact it can have. My journey into the world of policy and public service has been shaped by a diverse set of experiences—whether it was working on a construction site as an electrician’s helper, assisting customers on the golf course and in retail, or taking initiative in 4-H and livestock competitions at the county, state, and national level. These experiences have taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and dependability—qualities that I carry into every role I take on. Competing in livestock events instilled in me a unique toughness and commitment to long-term goals. It also developed my ability to perform under pressure and hold myself accountable—skills that translate seamlessly into the world of government and policy. As I pursue my political science degree with a minor in global studies at Arizona State University, I’m eager to continue building a career that blends policy knowledge, real-world experience, and a relentless work ethic. I am particularly interested in roles where I can work in or around the policymaking process—contributing to meaningful change, solving problems, and helping public systems serve people more effectively.
