• Provided buy-side financial due-diligence services, including detailed forecast analysis, for a publicly traded UK company in their proposed acquisition of a Vancouver-based target; high quality of work and client service led to client offering a secondment as Financial Controller of their Canadian operations. • Acted as main client contact for the financial work stream of a UK public company while also managing deliverables from three other Deloitte work streams (tax, IT and HR) that were presented to the Board. • Supported private equity firm in a proposed divestiture of their retail portfolio company, conducting vendor due-diligence and deep analysis on operating expenses, rebates and accruals; analysis and high attention to detail resulted in a timely vendor due-diligence report for the client to take to market. • Conducted buy-side financial due-diligence services for strategic client in their acquisition of Vancouver based target; completed due-diligence report, review of share purchase agreement and target/closing NWC calculations so client could determine appropriate purchase price. • Assisted Vancouver-based private equity firm in their acquisition of Canadian based target; construction of financial model for the buyer’s lender led to working directly with the Managing Partner of the private equity firm; strong client service resulted in winning two additional pieces of work.
