Mitch has over 10 years of experience as a CPA and works with a broad spectrum of businesses ranging from manufacturing to construction & real estate companies. Mitch spent a year in Minneapolis with the international CPA firm Deloitte & Touche before he joined LattaHarris in 2008 working out of the Iowa City office. In November of 2013, Mitch transferred to the Washington office in an effort to become more involved with the business community where he grew up, in Kalona. In October of 2017, Mitch and long-time colleague David Black started their own CPA firm, with offices in their local communities. He has extensive knowledge in partnership taxation as well as taxation of real estate investment and non-profit organizations. Mitch also has knowledge in corporate and personal tax planning and preparation. Mitch received his B.B.A. in Accounting and his Masters in Accounting from The University of Iowa. Mitch is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time Mitch enjoys fishing with his Dad and two sons, Caleb and Cade, spending time with his wife Marce and watching Iowa Hawkeye wrestling.
