Bristol, England, United Kingdom
I graduated with an Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) LLB Law from the University of Bristol. My background in Business Economics, combined with experience in commercial real estate, legal internships, and student engagement initiatives, has strengthened my commercial awareness, analytical skills, and commitment to pursuing a career as a commercial solicitor. Before law school, I worked at Ayala Land Malls in the Philippines, managing over 200 client accounts and leasing contracts, including those of global brands like Samsung and McDonald's. I also interned at two Philippine law firms, conducting legal research, interviewing witnesses, and designing a workflow tool that automated client data entry for court documents. I’ve consistently contributed to student-led initiatives. In 2025, I founded the Bristol Mature Student Society which fosters a supportive community for students entering university through non-traditional pathways. In 2018, I co-founded the University of the Philippines (UP) Aviation Society. I revived its membership after the pandemic, and organised over 10 exposure trips that gave students and alumni access to free flying lessons. From 2015 to 2019, I was an active member of the UP Economics Society. I organised nationwide competitions such as Musikapella and negotiated partnerships with with global brands such as Procter & Gamble, Quaker Oats and AirAsia. Beyond this, I am passionate in working for student engagement activities. This is supported by my roles in the University of Bristol such as the Feedback Engagement Fellows and Mature Student Advocate. I would also like to pursue a career in shaping higher education policy as demonstrated by my decision to run and campaign for the Undergraduate Education Officer role at the Bristol SU. I am particularly interested in opportunities in immigration, higher education, or commercial real estate. Always open to connecting with people. Feel free to reach out!

The Bristol Mature Student Society fosters a supportive community for students aged 21 and over who are beginning their university journey. We welcome those who have taken non-traditional pathways to Bristol, including Access to HE, foundation years, BTECs, and second degrees. I help ensure that mature students feel welcomed and connected in the University by organising events that build a strong sense of community. I also work with the Student Inclusion Team to develop initiatives tailored to mature students’ needs.
I engaged with over 500 students and university staff to understand the key issues shaping the student experience. By analysing stakeholder input, I identified recurring themes relating to inclusion, feedback culture, and careers support, and translated these into a structured, policy-focused manifesto. I then strategised my campaign schedule and led an intensive four-day campaign across the University of Bristol’s Clifton, Langford, and Temple Quarter Enterprise campuses.
