Hello, I'm Misha, a 3rd-year computer science student passionate about using AI and machine learning to build a better world for people! My technical expertise includes full-stack development and building AI-powered applications, such as an AI agent to optimize user workflow in my recent internship and a smart college recommendation system. As a UW student org president and introductory computer science class TA, I am excited about shaping the next generations of computer scientists, leading educational and research initiatives in AI/ML, and teaching core computer concepts to students new to computer science.
I am working as an undergraduate TA for CSE 123, the last course in the introductory computer science series at UW. As a TA, I help manage a class of over 500 students, holding office hours and biweekly TA sections, grading assignments and assessments, and contributing to course content and structure.
- Co-leading Interactive Intelligence, a UW student org with over 1000 members - Organizing several key educational and research programs for 100+ students per quarter - Managing large leadership team, including program heads, TAs, and admin members
- Co-leading & teaching I2's Intro to Neuro/AI Course, focusing on ML, AI, and neuroscience - Scaled course over two years, reaching 300+ students internationally - Teaching lectures, organizing homework and team of TAs, co-authored 100+ page textbook
- Led I2's Data Science Initiative, teaching ~100 students data science & predictive analytics
- Engineered generative AI system using task-driven OpenAI LLMs and hybrid recommender system - Deployed full-stack feature via CI/CD pipeline, working with FastAPI, GraphQL, React (web), Swift (iOS) - Conducted telemetry tracking and usage analytics for feature using Observe and Opal
Currently working with hearing loss data from infants and children from UW Medical Clinic and Seattle Children's Hospital to build a neural networking model that mimics diagnostic process of clinicians. This technology will eliminate the need for expert audiologists in hearing-loss diagnosis and run on cost-effective equipment, creating a more accessible method of diagnosing hearing loss in infants and children.
Taught various beginner dance classes in my dance institute and aided in planning/execution of 100+ student recital
