As a Designer and Project Manager at an award-winning San Francisco firm, I both managed and provided project support for up to 10 projects a year across multiple scales from high-end residential to small-scale retail, from the schematic design phase through construction administration. My role extended from initial concept visualization and client communication, to project documentation and permit acquisition, to coordination between contractor, client and subcontractors during construction. As an independent design contractor, I partnered with the founders of a new Japanese ramen restaurant concept to build their brand from the ground up. Work included architectural design of a kiosk in a high-end food court, logo and branding development, menu design, graphic design and various marketing materials. I also acted as the lead designer for their second location, a full-service location in the heart of downtown Oakland.
