1. Manage the category sourcing for Raw Materials, Capex, Equipment & Consumables, Mining, Inbound Logistics, Industrial Services and Operational Procurement. 2. Manage the overall procurement of Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited (LUMPL) in India. 3. Oversee the overall planning of raw materials and inbound logistics for all four plants in Bangladesh. 4. Oversee the all type of Importation and the procurement of Foreign Service. 5. Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies aiming to achieve target benefits and financial savings, including the monitoring and approval of individual category strategies. 6. Procurement: 1. Lead Plant Purchase team for buying S&IM (Service & Indirect Materials) and Capex up to a certain limit such as, Process Machines, Equipment, Building and Structures, Maintenance & Improvement (M&I), Sundry and operating supplies for production, Technical Store Materials etc. at a cost effective way. 2. Solicit bids, analyze quotations, perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & savings calculation and select products and vendors consistent with existing policies and procedures. 3. Playing a major role as a member of Project implementation team from S&IM Dept. by providing procurement support for 4. consultancy services, civil work, project machinery, different types of fabrication and modification work, electrical and automation setup, Machine installation and commissioning etc. 5. Responsible for the procurement of all small office equipment for the plant. Planning & Inventory Management: 1. Assist Engineering Dept. for proper Inventory management of Technical Store Materials which contains 2333 SKUs. 2. Regularly analysis of the budget, commitments, Gantt chart , requirements for the projects across functions (Engineering, Production, IP, Finance & Control) for providing insights to management on the progress of projects along with budget and Cash flows and to know the business needs and identify the problem areas for taking proper action to implement the project successfully. Supplier Development: 1. Lead cross functional team including User Dept. to develop new & increase existing supplier portfolio (through Supplier sourcing, vendor site visit etc.) 2. By frequent supplier visit make the potential vendors committed in speed, accuracy and competitive cost as per the guideline of Nestlé Bangladesh Limited.
Central Distribution Center Operation Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Was responsible for the inventory management and distribution of 6600 SKUS. Led a team of 19 persons for overall CDC operation. 2. Regularly performed ABC analysis to observe dominating SKUs and also analyze the EOQ, MOQ, ROL, SS, and TBO for these. 3. Analyzed data obtained from SAP and find out Demand Vs Delivery efficiency and the reasons behind the difference. 4. Did plan for weekly delivery and circulate it to all concerned department for proper functioning. 5. Worked with the inventory tool MRP and based on SAP system raise PR to buying Dept. for loose commodities 6. Analyzed supplier delivery efficiency by calculating Line fill rate and Batch fill rate. Procurement Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Import of Machine and equipment. 2. Developed vendors for all types of Non-Inventory Items and ensured the enlistment of at least 4 vendors for non-proprietary items. 3. Performed several supplier site visits to evaluate their capacity level, quality and competency. 4. Initiated several contracts for Inventory Goods and commodities. 5. Maintained Inventory of all types of CAPEX, OPEX and consumables and also monitored delivery at different outlets. 6.
