My main objective is to protect my curiosity; to improve as much as possible and master every experience, observation and knowledge I have in life.     ***Grains, Feedstuff, Oilseeds, Pulses, Foodstuff*** We are working with almost all agri-commodities in general, mostly of Blacksea origin (Rus/Ukr/Mld/Blg/Rom/Tr); milling/durum wheat, corn, barley, wheat bran, sunflower seeds, soybeans, soy/sun meals, lentils, chickpeas, yellow peas... Bulk in coasters or containers. We also deal with supply of some the processed foodstuff, such as wheat flour, edible oils, organic wheat/flour, pasta, various types of pulses (split lentils, peas, coarse bulgur, ...) The productions are mostly tailor-made production as per the requirements of the customer, market and end-product. All from well-known, strong and quality-oriented suppliers. Retail size packs and industrial size bags are applicable depending on the product. In containers or bulk vessels. As we still think as traders, we do happily work on project basis and also with product based business/strategy development.

  • Commercial Manager & Commodity Trader at AGRON TARIM

    • Established a risk management and counterparty limit system for the new and existing accounts, as an essential project. • Carried out all the details of operations with an IT team to create a private app for Agron, where limits and orders can be managed, executed, permitted,… basically controlled and are visible by all users. • Worked and improved the costing structure on operations side (inspection, storage, customs,…). • Worked through all company contracts with a CITF and Gafta approved arbitrator in order to standardize the old contracts to be more detailed and protective. • Created a simple historical database for many commodities, accessible by all trade team, where they can track the S&Ds, export figures and many more details on country basis. The aim was to help junior/senior traders with analytical data to have a better understanding of the market on any commodity. • Handled commercial relations and made visits to new and key counterparties, in order to establish and maintain strong relations with them. Sales were done by the sales-team. • Took major part in decision making, trading and distribution and of various grains, feedstuff and IPR license positions.

    • Built up the setup and structure in order to expand by conducting a team as the trade manager (the mother company does not have an international trade experience from earlier). • Established communication with potential partners for various areas such as vessel management operations, grains and feedstuff originators/suppliers, flour exports, … • Traded and distributed wheat, sfmp. • Also did all the operations of the bought, traded and distributed commodities. • Traded and distributed sesame (various African origins) in Turkey. Also did some Ethiopian sesame and non-GM sbs by containers to India.

    • Daily/weekly works of the grain trader at a destination office; - Providing and distribution of accurate market information, conference calls,... with Geneva and other offices. - Preparing and controlling S&Ds, make sure to keep them accurate and updated. - Writing daily memos and weekly reports to keep other offices/divisions involved and posted. - Stocks and funds management together with finance and operation teams. • Had the following jobs/positions at once; 1) Grain trader of Bunge Turkey; responsible from P&L of grains trade and providing demand for Bunge CIF sales to Turkish market 2) Leader of Coasters Team; was also responsible for the P&L and book of accounts for Rostov Grain Terminal, leading The Coasters Team of 6 people, from origination until destination from the Rostov terminal, as well as with the 3rd party positions (all coasters destinations except Egypt). Reporting to Geneva. 3) Distribution in Turkey; both CIF (from ports) and local positions. • Built up a new book of counterparties (and suppliers) from scratch, both in Turkey and at other coasters destinations, by going through all of the details with the compliance team. • Had increasing and satisfactory P&Ls both in Turkey (3 years) and for Russia Rostov Terminal (2 years). • In addition to the grains I had the opportunity to trade wheat flour (export), chickpeas, lecithin.
