Spearheaded full cycle implementation of the EDTP Gemas-JB Southern Section Track Works Associated Signaling project encompassing from construction to commissioning of temporary track diversion, new tracks laydown, turnout, level crossing, ballasting, fasteners, sleepers & rails installation, flash butt welding, cut and slew, tamping, destressing and closure welds, sign, markers, earthworks, and drainage Develop a robust staging strategy, including optimizing track possessions. Review current staging (with others) and be integral in finalizing the delivery strategy Compile take off registers for all materials and prepare material logistic plans for rail drops, ballast handling etc. Maintain knowledge of current practices, processes, standards, and emerging technologies in relation to the Permanent Way Scope Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take remedial action as required Provide technical support in the detailed planning and execution the Permanent Way works Work collaboratively with the civil, drainage, and other rail system disciplines opportunities to optimize processes.
