About

I’m a personal finance expert, international speaker, and bestselling author — with over a decade of experience helping thousands of people transform their relationship with money across Latin America and the U.S. I’m the founder of Plata con Plática, Central America’s most-read personal finance platform, with over 100,000 monthly readers. I’ve written more than 2,000 articles, created a full ecosystem of tools and products — including planners, board games, and self-assessment kits — and led over 1,500 conferences, workshops, and training programs throughout the region. I’m also the author of Mujeres y Finanzas, the first personal finance book in Central America written by a woman for women, designed to help them take control of their money, break generational patterns, and build financial confidence. I’ve partnered with over 100 companies and organizations — including multinational corporations, banks, telecoms, mining companies, NGOs, and healthcare providers — to design and deliver financial education programs that improve wellbeing and drive business results. Brands like BAC, BANPRO, BAM, CEMEX, DHL, Claro, Tigo and Puma Energy have trusted me to train their teams. My work has been recognized by Forbes, Estrategia & Negocios, FINCON, and CCK as one of the most influential voices in financial empowerment in Latin America. Because when you change your finances, you don’t just change your bank account — you change your entire life. Let’s connect if you’re looking for financial education with heart, strategy, and measurable impact.

Experience

  • Founder & Ceo at Plata con Plática
    Mar 2012 - Present · 14 yrs 5 mos

I founded Plata con Plática to close the gap in financial education in Latin America — and turn it into a business that transforms lives and organizations. Over the past 13+ years, I’ve led the company from a personal blog to a trusted financial wellness partner for over 100 companies and organizations across Latin America and the U.S. Under my leadership, we have: • Delivered 1,500+ corporate workshops, trainings and keynotes. • Created and launched 8 financial education products (planners, games, self-assessments, and digital tools). • Reached millions through content, courses, and conferences. • Built long-term partnerships with banks, telecoms, mining companies, NGOs and regional brands. My role includes: setting vision and strategy, leading the team, building scalable programs, managing financial operations, driving B2B growth, and negotiating all major contracts. Plata con Plática is now Central America’s most-read personal finance platform — and growing as a regional leader in corporate financial wellness.
