I am an aspiring trade mark attorney with a First Class degree in Biological Sciences from University College London and a High Commendation in the PGDL from the University of Law. My interest in intellectual property stems from a lifelong passion for music and a deep appreciation of the creativity, effort and individuality that underpin artistic and commercial success. This has inspired my ambition to specialise in trade mark and copyright law, helping creators, entrepreneurs and businesses protect the brands and ideas that distinguish them in the marketplace. Through my academic studies and intellectual property experience, including an internship at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LL, I have developed strong research, analytical and communication skills, with particular strengths in translating complex legal and technical concepts into clear, practical advice. I am particularly interested in the intersection of intellectual property, innovation and emerging technologies. As part of my ongoing professional development, I am building a portfolio focused on helping small businesses understand trade mark fundamentals, including brand protection, clearance searches and registration considerations. Alongside this, I am exploring how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly to support legal research and improve access to information, while recognising the importance of accuracy, transparency and professional judgement. Detail-oriented, naturally curious and committed to continuous learning, I am motivated by the opportunity to help individuals and businesses protect the value of their creations while supporting innovation in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Represented Biological Sciences students by communicating any course-related concerns and feedback they may have at regular Student-Staff Consultative Committee meetings and notifying them of any changes made as a result.
