As the Program and HR Manager, I lead the department in ensuring effective office administration and human resource management. In my HR role, I supervise administrative staff, maintain accurate HR records, manage staff timesheets, and lead the recruitment process. I also design and facilitate staff capacity building initiatives and serve as the focal point for HR-related training. Additionally, I prepare and submit monthly office activity reports, develop project training reports, and lead monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities to ensure the successful implementation of program objectives.
As a Gender and Governance Technical Consultant for the Ministry of Human Rights, I provided technical support on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) in coordination with GEN. I organized capacity-building activities, supported interministerial coordination, and strengthened case management systems. I worked closely with MoWYCA and other ministries to improve survivors’ access to services and guided referrals. I participated in meetings, contributed to research and data collection, and ensured adherence to the Murad Code. I documented monthly reports on GBV and CRSV cases and submitted activity reports to GEN, including lessons learned, coordination updates, and recommendations.
As a Data Officer, I was responsible for receiving and following up on cases submitted by data collectors, conducting online and media monitoring, and ensuring accurate data entry into the UWAZI system. I standardized and updated cases, conducted interviews, and gathered supporting evidence. I also led and co-led training sessions on documentation and transitional justice, held follow-up meetings with data collectors and collaborators, and prepared activity reports. Additionally, I supervised data collaborators and supported the documentation and research coordinator in information collection and report writing, contributing to effective case management and the integrity of data used for human rights violation documentation.
As a Program Officer, I conducted background checks of direct beneficiaries and prepared supporting documents in compliance with donor policies. I developed and updated activity schedules in coordination with the Program Team and local organizers. I observed and verified beneficiaries to ensure alignment with Equality Myanmar’s cash grant and humanitarian aid guidelines, including protection fund support. I closely monitored local organizers to prevent corruption and capture lessons learned. Additionally, I arranged and conducted interviews with beneficiaries for Monitoring and Evaluation purposes and supported the preparation and implementation of human rights documentation and protection-focused training activities.
As a part-time Training Organizer, I effectively communicated with local trainees to ensure their engagement and understanding. During training sessions, I took comprehensive notes and promptly submitted them to the organization for documentation and review. Additionally, I served as a co-trainer in human rights training sessions, supporting the lead trainer in delivering content and facilitating discussions to enhance participant learning.
As a Regional Data Collector, I conducted interviews regarding human rights violation cases in the Tanintharyi and Sagaing Regions. I prepared detailed reports and issued information sheets to document findings accurately. Additionally, I provided emotional support and encouragement to victims and survivors, helping them cope with their experiences while ensuring their voices were heard and respected.
