As the Science International Recruiting Coordinator, I support the Faculty of Science in promoting programs and opportunities to international students and institutions. My role focuses on building partnerships, delivering program presentations, and guiding prospective students through their academic pathways. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating international recruitment initiatives and outreach activities to attract high-caliber students. Providing detailed program guidance and advising international applicants on program options, co-op opportunities, and career prospects. Developing and delivering presentations at schools, universities, and virtual events to showcase the Faculty of Science and York University. Supporting collaborations with international institutions, including after-school programs and joint initiatives, to expand educational opportunities. Managing communication with prospective students and partner institutions, ensuring timely and accurate information. Assisting in the planning and execution of recruitment events, workshops, and info sessions. Utilizing social media and other digital platforms to promote programs and engage with a global audience. This role allows me to combine my passion for science education with strategic international engagement to help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
