Ontra is a rock-star tech startup (200M in series B funding) that provides legal services and a SaaS software in the domain of Private Equity, Fund Management, and Contract Negotiation. • Planned and conducted user research interviews and user tests; unblocked product decisions to move the project forward with findings. • Visualized user personas and role maps with research efforts, affinity map, and the JTBD framework. • Design new features in collaboration with customer experts, sales, and devs.
Cascadia Capital Corp. is a financial service company. I redesigned both internal management tools and client-facing applications for them with improvements shown in data results. • CRM leads system redesign: streamlined the leads pipeline and improved leads utilization (+15%), efficiency (1.5x), conversion (3x), and the use of tracking functions (4x). • Redesigned the online application form (responsive web app); enhanced ID uploading rate (+8.7%), shortened application completion time (-2.2 mins), and enabled better mobile experience. • Initiated data collection: persuaded and teamed up with developers to gather important data metrics. • End-to-end design from needs assessment, research to product launch. • Built a smooth design-development workflow in an engineering-led team as the first UX designer; empathize with developers while speaking for user and business needs.
