10 years ago, I came to the UK to study my BSc followed by an MSc. Before I finished my studies, I began hunting for jobs but went through 100+ rejections and no job for over 6 months. My silver lining came when I secured my first internship in the UK, which led to my first visa-sponsored job. I reached multiple final rounds with top MNCs and consulting firms, but my passion for helping a company grow and expand led me to start my career in a tech company. Over time, I was promoted, received salary increases, traveled internationally to meet clients, and enjoyed flexibility in my work. But as I moved forward, I noticed a recurring question from students: “How did you manage to get here?” I saw the gap - young students were struggling to navigate the competitive job market, and there wasn’t enough guidance available. So, I decided to do something about it. That’s how Careertegy was born.
