-Prepare unit price forecasts for direct material parts and investment estimates during new vehicle feasibility studies -Conduct detailed cost analyses of parts and tooling during product development, setting target costs for the Purchasing department -Support design teams in creating the most cost-effective solutions -Taking an active role in Value Optimization teams working on mass-produced vehicles and participating in teardown and benchmark studies -Conduct cost analysis studies for product changes suggestions from Tofaş units
-Implementation of digital systems throughout the factory -Leading focused improvement studies and expanding systematical problem solving methods -Collaborate with departments such as quality, logistics, maintenance and production to ensure cross-pillar alignment and synergy -Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and eliminating losses through structured problem-solving methodologies such as Kaizen, 5Whys, RCA and A3 Thinking -Optimization of production line and layout -Execution, coordination and supervision of lean production activities within the factory -Planning machine and equipment acquisitions
-Making short and long term manpower plans & budgets throughout the factory -Leading factory-wide work force productivity studies -Making monthly productivity analysis of the factory and following up the improvement projects of the departments
-Time study workings (with MTM-UAS method) -Analysis of Labor needs -Machine and equipment capacity requirement & occupancy analysis and planning in all locations -NVAA analysis for WCM WO and CD Pillars -Monthly F Matrix tracking and presentation -Process improvement studies.
