About

I joined Geneva Supply during their purchase and transition of adding Interstate Music to their portfolio. With that came the birth of a beautiful new e-commerce site, the re-launch of Interstate Music’s Amazon business, and branching out to various other e-commerce sites to sell hundreds of different music brands and thousands of music, stage, and studio related products. Since the launch, life at Interstate Music as a Content Manager has been busy, busy, busy. From creating and curating content to making TikToks for our business account, stocking the mini-fridges, and grocery shopping for our music events (the latter two being tasks I happily volunteered for), there was always something to be done. As I learned and figured out tricks and efficiencies, I became a go-to person to get projects accomplished and was able to grow into a new role, a Lead Content Manager. As a Lead Content Manager, I have led internal meetings, organized workflow processes, and trained coworkers on software, programs, and projects. I continue to spend my days writing, creating, and curating content for both Interstate and Geneva Supply and working with other departments to manage the content on our various marketplaces. My position at Geneva Supply/Interstate Music has been extremely dynamic, challenging, fun, and an incredible opportunity to learn and improve as an individual. I have learned a lot from my coworkers, our ever-changing company, and the continued power of Google. I even learned how to make a rose out of salami for a charcuterie board centerpiece (thank you, TikTok)! I continue to remain excited to see how my job will revolve and fit the needs of Interstate Music and learn more along the way.
