I am a freelance photographer & photo/production assistant that currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. I moved here about 8 years ago from St. Louis, MO in pursuit of my dreams of being a professional skateboard photographer. Since then, I have my work featured in publications such as: Forbes, Hypebeast, Thrasher Magazine, FastCompany & BBC. I have worked primarily in footwear photography for the past 5 years, but I have also worked with numerous apparel & lifestyle brands in obtaining unique and brand-specific photographic assets. I pride myself on a keen eye for attention to detail as well as a strong passion for conveying a brand's identity through my lens. - Compose and shoot photos aligned with multiple clients under Berrics - including DVS, FUJI-Q, and CANTEEN - Plan and prepare photo sessions weekly with multiple team skaters, including location scouting, equipment setup, and scheduling - Manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver assets on calendar - Maintain a clear file system for current and archived projects in Dropbox - Support overall shoot, including lighting setup, angles and, subject positioning - Support in creative direction, themes and story boards for each brands needs and branding - Manage deliverables for all marketing purposes - Social, e-commerce, and advertising - Edit and retouch photos using Lightroom and Photoshop to achieve correct color, enhanced quality and adhere to overall aesthetics
As a photography assistant, I help assist the photographer with any and all tasks necessary on commercial shoots. - Consult with client to get clear shot objectives for seasonal photographic needs across social, e-commerce, and product - Plan and prepare photo sessions weekly with multiple team skaters, including location scouting, equipment setup, and scheduling - Provide creative direction that aligns with branding to achieve aesthetic outcome for all marketing uses including social media, catalogs, and other marketing tools - Maintain a clear file system for current and archived projects in Dropbox - Edit and retouch photos using Lightroom and Photoshop to achieve correct color, enhanced quality and adhere to overall aesthetics - Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure deadlines are met - Develop engaging and creative content for Instagram that adheres to brand - Communicate and maintain relationships with followers and fans through active engagement and timely responses - Monitor and analyze social audience, trend, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement - Plan posts and stories on a weekly basis with cross functional teams to ensure all drops, announcements, and content is received
