I work on low latency networking for interactive applications like XR and cloud gaming. My current focus is on designing a low latency, QUIC-based, multipath protocol for the same. In the past, I have worked on building decentralized cellular networks for ubiquitous connectivity. I have also spent some time designing 5G systems.
Built blockchain based decentralized cellular networks using the Magma core
- Built an end to end 5G NR simulator in MATLAB and evaluated channel estimation and equalization algorithms. - Designed an optimized and performant interface for the L1 Controller to translate inputs from L2/L3 to PHY into configurations for hardware modules.
Worked as a teaching assistant for the course Advanced Topics in Communications at IIT Madras.
Organized multiple one hour sessions for over 100 students (Classes 8 to 12), introducing them to AI.
- Worked as an undergraduate researcher at the LIGO 40m prototype laboratory at Caltech. - Designed a deep learning based system for laser beam position tracking for LIGO interferometers. - Automated the locking of the Pre-Mode Cleaner cavity.
