Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience building and enhancing enterprise-grade banking applications at Intellect Design Arena. My work focuses on designing reliable, high-performance backend systems that support complex financial workflows. I have developed and enhanced backend services using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JDBC, and PostgreSQL, contributing to scalable and maintainable architectures in core banking modules. I played a key role in building optimized application for Escrow and VAM (Virtual Account Management ) Front Office modules using Hasura and GraphQL, enabling fast and secure data retrieval from tables, views, and database functions with advanced filtering and role-based access control. For transactional operations, I implemented create and update workflows through Java microservices, integrating with back-office systems for business validations and handling asynchronous responses using Kafka topic-based messaging. To improve system responsiveness and reduce user-facing latency, I designed and implemented asynchronous processing using ActiveMQ JMS, ensuring efficient decoupling and smoother request handling across services. I enjoy working on backend problem-solving, performance optimization, and event-driven architectures, and I am continuously improving my skills in building fault-tolerant, scalable systems for the banking domain.
Banking Project: Escrow & Virtual Account Management and LMS • Developed scalable backend microservices using Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and PostgreSQL for enterprise banking platforms handling high-volume financial transactions. • Built high-performance data access layers for Escrow and VAM customer interface modules using Hasura GraphQL, enabling fast retrieval from tables, views, and functions with filters and role-based access control. • Implemented create, update, and close operations for virtual accounts and fund transfer operations through Springboot microservices, integrated with back-office services for business validation and implemented event-driven workflows using Apache Kafka for inter-service communication and asynchronous processing. • Designed asynchronous processing using ActiveMQ JMS to improve system throughput and reduce API response latency. • Developed multi-step workflows across distributed microservices using REST APIs, Kafka, and Apache Camel for routing and orchestration. • Worked on Standalone Liquidity Management Solution (LMS), enhancing the existing interest processing module by building logic for cycle-till-date average balance and back-value average balance calculations.
