Worked in a regional hub, managing supply chain for 6 markets, including four 3rd party logistics service providers. Implemented Sales and Operations Planning process which resulted in overall business transparency, forecast accuracy increase (from 60-80% to 80-95%), as well as working capital / inventory reduction (10%). Established Supply chain KPIs, with visibility to top management. 100% success rate with in-time new product launches. Successfully completed tender for 3PL provider at the biggest market, with achieved saving of 40%. Developed partnership with Distributors where Buy-and-Sell legal entities were not present.
Contributed to successful integration of Barr / Pliva European supply chain into TEVA Europe and International Supply Chain. Took over new responsibility for in-market supply chain (according to TEVA principles) and established team for the region of 6 markets. Over the period of 12 months released $7M of working capital by reducing finished goods inventory. Worked closely with regional business controlling function, being responsible for COGS (in-house, bought in products, obsolete inventory).
Managed integration of Pliva supply chain into Barr. Successfully implemented European “Customer first meeting” and site S&OP meetings, supported with supply chain KPIs. Worked closely with VP European Commercial Operations on establishing the trust between Operations and Commercial business. Implemented tactical capacity review tools and meetings for 3 European operations, helping management to anticipate future capacity constraints. Established Central Master data management for European operations.
Established Global Supply Chain function, coordinating supply chain teams at manufacturing sites. Raised awareness and introduced first customer service and supply chain KPIs. Initiated and led number of Global Operations improvement initiatives such as complexity reduction in packaging operations, quality testing operations, sampling and also lead time reduction. Managed supply chain stream in manufacturing network consolidation project and selection of global logistics service provider. Provided lead in short term capacity constraint management and supply issues with 3rd party suppliers.
