As a junior at James Madison University majoring in Political Science, I am driven by a passion for justice, public service, and the power of law to create meaningful change. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in law, where I can advocate for others, address systemic challenges, and contribute to a more equitable society. At JMU, I am an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, the university’s Pre-Law fraternity. Through this organization, I’ve embraced a proactive approach to preparing for my future, including early engagement with LSAT preparation and participating in activities like our visit to UVA Law School. These experiences provide invaluable insights into the legal profession and inspire me to pursue my goals with determination. Through my coursework, fraternity involvement, and community engagement, I am building a foundation of knowledge and leadership skills that I plan to use in service of others. I value collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking as tools to not only learn but to make a difference wherever I go. Friendly and hardworking Shift Lead with experience training new team members and keeping things running smoothly. As a lifeguard, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons by constantly monitoring the pool area and identifying potential hazards. I opened and closed the pool each day, ensuring that all safety policies and procedures were followed to maintain a secure environment. Additionally, I supervised pool parties, providing oversight to ensure that guests enjoyed a safe and fun experience while adhering to all safety guidelines. My role required strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
I was responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a family-style dining environment. I resolved customer complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. My duties included providing immediate service to guests, helping cook and prepare meals, and ensuring the timely delivery of food to tables. I also took on various cleaning tasks, including cleaning up after each meal and washing dishes in preparation for the next. This position allowed me to work efficiently as part of a team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere while delivering high-quality service.
