I am a husband, father of four beautiful daughters, and a hands-on technology leader with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations modernize, scale, and operate in the cloud. I started my career in cloud security and have spent the last decade working with organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Most of my work has involved AWS, helping businesses modernize infrastructure, strengthen security, and solve the operational challenges that come with growth. Today, I'm the CEO of Innovative Digital Transformation (IDT). Other than leading an AWS Advanced Tier Service Partner, I still enjoy being hands-on with customers, whether that's reviewing an architecture, solving a difficult production issue, or helping a leadership team decide where to invest next. Most of what I am sharing here comes from real projects, engagements and conversations with customers. I tend to write about AWS, cloud security, AI, data, architecture, and the practical decisions that make technology easier to operate over time. Coming from a security background, I've seen how much easier it is to make good decisions when security is part of the conversation early on. As CEO of Innovative Digital Transformation (IDT), I lead an engineering-driven AWS Advanced Tier Partner helping organizations migrate, modernize, and operate on AWS with confidence - focused on measurable outcomes: delivery speed, reliability, cost control, and security/compliance discipline. My experience combines consultative leadership with hands-on execution across production environments. I work with teams running customer-facing applications, internal platforms, and data-intensive systems where operational readiness, change control, and security requirements are non-negotiable. I’ve supported organizations from well-funded startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, including regulated and mission-critical production contexts - improving incident response, reducing operational risk, and enabling teams to scale confidently.
As Director of Security and AWS Security Practice Leader at ClearScale, I led the build-out and external representation of the AWS Security practice, helping customers adopt AWS faster with confidence. I translated security, compliance, and risk requirements into practical architectures, controls, and operating models that enabled delivery speed without sacrificing governance. I scaled a global team of security solution architects and engineers, developed packaged service offerings and playbooks to improve consistency and sales readiness, and served as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders - supporting engagements end-to-end from opportunity shaping through delivery assurance and escalations in regulated, mission-critical production environments.
As Director of Information Technology and Security at ClearScale, I built and scaled the company’s global IT and cybersecurity functions, establishing the programs, operating processes, and controls needed to protect the business and enable growth. I designed and implemented an ISMS and enterprise IT governance that strengthened security posture, improved audit readiness, and supported compliance with major frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53 - reducing risk while helping teams operate efficiently across regions.
I served the company as a highly passionate and deeply technical, hands-on Security Architect advising customers on AWS security best practices, methodologies, and solutions. I delivered architecture guidance, led proof-of-concept projects, and supported customer projects from a security perspective. I also collaborated with customers to address security and compliance challenges.
I managed all aspects of corporate IT infrastructure (corporate data centers, AWS, colocation facilities, and customer production systems in various geographical locations). Served as a technical and security expert in the company.
