5 years of work experience so far and while it's hardened my knuckles, I'm just getting started. So far, I've explored the startup and tech ecosystem, both from the observatory deck and in close contact with startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors, lawyers, professors and other stakeholders. I've developed a fair degree of capability and understanding to bring structure to chaos, go beyond rhetoric to explore realities, deep-dive into developments to understand why it's happening, what it means for relevant parties, whether it's part of a trend about to be afoot and where it goes from here. I seem to really enjoy forming ideas, analyzing them deeply and richly, doing the necessary research, asking the right questions, factoring in all the perspectives & developing something wholesome and meaningful. That translates into positive outcomes for all those I engage with through the articles and scripts I've put together, podcasts I've curated and other types of content I've formed. And that's what I like doing: making ideas more understandable, fun, interesting and lucid. That's why with my analytical and somewhat irreverent style & the occasional pop culture reference, I'm able to successfully unpack dense business and tech themes & challenge lazy narratives. Which may be why I like to flex my debating muscle, such as when I participated in British Parliamentary debates hosted by universities, such as Oxford and UCL. And sure, it's easy to weaponize my pesky physical disability and use it as a crutch or a shield, but I'm not built like that. I will not allow the dust in my soul to accumulate; I'm here to take action, figure things out, get going, make an impact and move forward. Let's build the ecosystem. ➼ Wrote all the articles for Shrija Agrawal's personal LinkedIn newsletter exploring startups and tech & scaled the company Substack from 0 to 4000+ subscribers, having integrated perspectives from 50+ entrepreneurs, VCs, lawyers and other stakeholders at companies, like E42.ai, Fireside Ventures, Khaitan & Co and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) ➼ Delivered B2B editorial content mandates for organizations, such as CAM and the Maker Bhavan Foundation, including podcast strategy, interview frameworks, monologues and episode structure, as well as pitch decks for client outreach ➼ Led the set-up of 4 startup events across India, securing speakers and sponsoring & building event agendas ➼ Produced 300+ video scripts across business, tech, sustainability and gender equality for YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn, leading to 20,000+ followers and ~400,000 views, whilst leading a team of ~10 remotely ➼ Hosted ~10 episodes for a startup podcast, interviewing founders of both bootstrapped and VC-funded startups ➼ Owned the hiring cycle for full-time and part time employees & freelancers, interviewing over 50 candidates for the startup, hiring and onboarding ~5 I killed it.
I wrote the articles for Shrija Agrawal's HT Digital column series "The Art of A Good Unicorn", which is on the premium version of Hindustan Times. These articles were formed with startup founders in India and beyond in mind, exploring emerging opportunities and critical issues that India's startup ecosystem faces, like AI regulation, venture debt, tech disruption, equality, governance and more. Some of these pieces included insights from experts from different sectors, including top legal firms. I killed it.

Here's where I: ➼ Created full scripting frameworks for business interviews and panel videos for episodes of Mint series, like "Winning With Antifragility", "Demystifying Regulation In Technology" and "Startup Diaries" with interviewees from entities, like Lightspeed, Info Edge, Lenskart, Bombay Shaving Company, Avaana Capital, Fireside Ventures, SEBI, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, the European Union and more ➼ Designed the editorial flow of a conversation for one of the panels at the Mint Sustainability Action Summit 2022 featuring experts from Avaana Capital, Everstone, SBI Funds and Trilegal on the future of ESG-led investing ➼ Composed coverages summarizing panel discussions, some of which were adapted for Mint's online portal and sometimes, its print edition ➼ Drafted video titles, platform descriptions for interview segments published on Mint's business and social media channels ➼ Reviewed video content pre-publication for editorial quality control I worked under Shrija Agrawal, Mint's former Associate Editor.
