Mike brings over 30 years of corporate experience in predominantly the banking and professional services sectors. He has held a wide range of roles including executive level positions in business strategy, transformation and human resources at Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, and KPMG. Earlier in his career, Mike held roles in front line sales, audit and credit, and led teams across multiple retail sites. This very diverse professional background positions him well him to build close working relationships with people at all levels across a wide variety of professions. “Focusing people on what makes them great and what makes them excited about being at work.” For the last decade, Mike has specialised in executive career coaching, with a focus on career transition and leadership development. Led the HR business partner team that supported the businesses of six National Managing Partners across KPMG Australia. Their teams comprised over 800 employees in the Markets & Growth, Brand & Innovation, Finance, IT, Property & Operations, People Performance & Culture, Risk Management and Legal functions in the firm. Responsible for leading a number of restructures across the client group to redesign roles and teams to improve capability and performance and to reduce complexity and cost. Also responsible for leading a number of strategic projects around process simplification, stakeholder governance, investment and business planning.
