• Introducing business control and all related activities from zero such as management reporting, planning & forecasting, analysis and business cases. • Responsible for building a team of 23 highly educated controllers across multiple countries. • Member of the Operational Board as well as the Financial Leadership Team and sparring partner for the Strategic Board especially the COO, CFO and CEO/owner of the company. • Responsible for accurate and timely management information via reports, analysis and business cases thereby supporting management decisions. • Involved in M&A and integration activities, re-financing activities as well as the implementation of SAP S4/Hana and Tagetik. • Responsible for providing a safe working environment with room for personal development.
• Overseeing the controlling of complex development programs in all regions starting from customer quotation until hand-over to the plant. • Sparring partner for project management, business development as well as CFO/CEO/COO. • Driving margin improvements of new as well as running programs. • Implementing improvements such as way-of-working, tools, processes, and reporting which went beyond project controlling alone.
• Leading a team of 15 controllers located in Düsseldorf and Munich in monitoring the performance of the B2C segment, providing accurate and timely management information via reports, analysis and business cases. • Managing the yearly budget process and recurring planning & control cycle. • Sparring partner for B2C management and pro-actively providing CFO and COO with management information. • Supporting individual development of team members. • Initiating improvement & development projects regarding reporting and predictive forecasting.
