WHO I AM A Quality and Operations leader with 20+ years of related experience including leading key initiatives for Motorola, Texas Instruments, GlobalFoundries, and Silicon Labs. I facilitated Silicon Labs’ fastest growing business line by championing TS16949 (automotive QMS) registration. Despite a prohibition against “fabless” semiconductor companies, I devised a solution and led our successful registration. Provided Quality leadership and expertise, and led readiness for ISO 9001 certification audits of the Bastrop TX and Hawthorne CA Starlink operations. Worked with customer John Deere to provide corrective action for previous audit findings. Trained Management on Quality principles. Mentored Quality auditors. Established best practices for documenting audit results and corrective action requests.
Provide leadership for Renesas products entering the Automotive space. Analyze and communicate with customers on functional safety concepts and requirements for next generation automotive analog and power products and ensure that all functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448) are met. Work closely with the development teams to ensure that all processes are followed in accordance with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 requirements.
Leading GF corporate policies and programs related to its rapidly expanding automotive business. Working globally with all fabs and business units to coordinate Gf "AutoPro" policies and systems, implementing them and continually improving their performance. Also directing a matrixed, cross-functional internal audits team to ensure continued certification to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Finally, work with the Legal team to review all customer contracts and specs for their Quality & Reliability content.
