About

WHO I AM A Quality and Operations leader with 20+ years of related experience including leading key initiatives for Motorola, Texas Instruments, GlobalFoundries, and Silicon Labs. I facilitated Silicon Labs’ fastest growing business line by championing TS16949 (automotive QMS) registration. Despite a prohibition against “fabless” semiconductor companies, I devised a solution and led our successful registration. WHAT I BELIEVE The right level of quality ultimately assures loyal customers. A strong and knowledgeable Quality leader can connect Design, Operations, Engineering, and Sales, and can positivity impact the operations chain from suppliers to customers. Employees inherently want to do the right thing - the right Quality leader empowers them to do that. Quality is in my DNA. WHAT I BRING I offer a proven record of results, a combination of creativity and process orientation, and an intense focus on customer loyalty. My commitment to the customer has earned Silicon Labs awards from key customers Sony, Samsung and Huawei as well as the city of Austin. At Motorola I turned around an under-performing production line and implemented initiatives that supported the company’s 2nd Baldrige National Quality award. WHAT I KNOW Expertise and broad experience in Quality within these industries and products: • Semiconductors • Electronic Assembly • Automotive • Defense & Government • Machining, Metals and Forming • Plastics & Adhesives • Glass & Hermetics Champion of Automotive Core tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.), Six Sigma methodology, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Extensive Lead auditor training and experience in IATF16949, ISO9000, ISO14000, Malcolm Baldrige, RoHS/WEEE, Conflict Minerals, UL/CE/CSA.
