Learning designer and trainer with expertise in instructional design, e-learning, education, UX, research, and stakeholder relationships. My current role allows me to integrate these skills to produce evidence-based, user-focused, and high-quality training courses. In my current position I have introduced and led the production of training needs analyses and strategic training plans. Building on this foundation, I have also introduced the production of e-learning training solutions to meet user needs. Working closely with the client and internal teams, I am leading the creation of effective and engaging multi-format training content. I have written comprehensive style guides and procedure manuals to ensure a consistently high quality is delivered across all training content. As a lifelong learner I hold a diverse array of qualifications, including a research Masters, a Masters-level teaching diploma, a UX Design boot camp certificate along with project management, instructional design, and online tutoring certificates. Recently I have expanded my skills to become proficient with industry-leading tools including Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Camtasia, and AI text-to-speech software. Employed by DEXS, the Digital Experience School at knowmad mood, and currently serving in a consultancy role as a Technical Writer and Trainer on the NATO TOPFAS software training project for FCC Industrial. In this role, I have introduced and led the development of training needs analyses, strategic training plans, and learner-centric e-learning solutions. Collaborating closely with both clients and internal teams, I drive the creation of engaging, multi-format training content that enhances learning outcomes for a key client contract. To ensure consistency and quality, I have developed comprehensive style guides and procedure manuals, standardising best practices across all training materials. This role has also allowed me to broaden my expertise with industry-leading tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, and AI-driven text-to-speech software, further strengthening my ability to design and deliver innovative digital learning experiences.
I worked as part of a multinational team to: • create text and video-based content for e-Learning professional development courses across a range of disciplines. • design and lay out content on an authoring tool. • devise assignments and discussion forums and fully integrate them into the course via the LMS. • work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a quality course is launched in line with objectives, learner requirements and timescales. Stakeholders include course professors and SMEs (externally) and graphic design and multimedia teams (internally).
In this international boutique e-learning agency I was responsible for introducing instructional best practices into workflows, specifically by: • writing and testing instructional design processes and templates for use across the organisation. • refining the organisation’s e-learning process based on industry best practice. • writing storyboards based on instructional design and high-level soft skills development research. • creating content for e-learning courses.
Worked as part of a multinational team my online tutoring duties included: • supporting students in their work towards course goals. • facilitating discussion forums. • managing Moodle for the course. • marking and providing feedback on portfolio tasks.
