Responsible to plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate the work activities within EVC production shop to assure good customer relationships, smooth work flow, and to expedite the production of customer orders. Determines assembly techniques, specifications, establishes priorities to meet deadlines, determines availability of production personnel, materials, machinery, equipment and methods of corrective action, and develops plant policies and procedures. Mr. Wiesenbach’s supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures, train and coach production line employees, conduct employee performance reviews, responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, shift rotations, coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Estimates labor and material costs of new build and repair of assets.
Technical Staff of the Carriage, Stream, Tow, and Recovery System (CSTRS) for the U.S. Navy's SH-60S Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) platform. Provide classroom and hands on AMCM system integration and maintenance instruction to U.S. Navy fleet maintainers by instructing electrical, ordinance and pilot system courses. Responsible for providing a variety of logistical and technical support regarding operation, usage, adjustments, depot repair, servicing, testing, processing, preservation, assembly, storage, maintenance and/or modification to improve operational/material readiness and sustain/extend life cycle of equipment. Mr. Wiesenbach works as part of the QA team as manufacturing area process owner. Responsibilities include developing written procedure to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed in adherence to our AS9100 and ISO14001 certifications. Mr. Wiesenbach is relied upon as the subject matter expert concerning FAA Federal Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance. Selected as onsite technical lead for $10 million Carriage, Stream, Tow, and Recovery (CSTRS) training simulator. Lead a team of engineers and technicians through complex and detailed electrical/electronic system troubleshooting. Developed, wrote and performed all test and evaluation procedures which were conducted in unison with client during acceptance testing and physical configuration auditing which resulted in a fully operational simulator and on time delivery.
Organized and directed eighty maintenance personnel in the disassembly and customs clearing of eighteen helicopters for transport from Europe to the U.S. Developed and wrote the standard operating procedures for the AH-64A aerial gunnery range which enabled us to safely and successfully qualify the first AH-64A aircraft in Pennsylvania National Guard. Supervised and coordinated all maintenance issues during the movement of eighteen helicopters through three countries. Planned and executed the AH-64A helicopter maintenance training program without an existing Soldier Training Publication and trained 100% of the company mechanics. Directly responsible for increasing aircraft operational readiness during combat operations from 68% to 92% Responsible for writing performance appraisals for 16 aircraft mechanics and assessing the need for recurrent aircraft maintenance training. The only soldier among 10 others authorized to inspect the work and release for flight both mechanical and electrical/electronic systems repair.
Responsible for supervising the successful accomplishment of the Commander's mobilization readiness objectives. Anticipates and recommends solutions to needs of the unit in all aspects of unit readiness. The Readiness NCO will be involved in the day to day supervision of training management, mobilization planning, supply, maintenance, pay and personnel functions relating to the welfare of the Soldiers and mission capability. Acts as the commander's day to day representative and spokesman in the daily operations of the unit and to ensure the highest readiness status of the unit. Supervises 6 full time and 35 part-time Soldiers.
Mr. Wiesenbach managed a property book containing over eight hundred line item numbers. This inventory included sixteen multi million dollar aircraft and all classified material within my unit. Entrusted with unsupervised access to all equipment to better manage the turn in and acquisition of equipment when required. My ability to prioritize multiple requirements enabled me to resolve logistics issues efficiently. My oral and written communications are exceptional. Regularly prepare written reports and present oral briefings. During the two years that Mr. Wiesenbach managed the property the unit passed every inventory inspection with no findings. When Mr. Wiesenbach started this position the unit had over two hundred overages and shortages. Within two years we were down to only 10 shortages.
Aircraft avionics and electrical systems fault analysis and troubleshooting. Accrued 800 flight hours (300 combat) as CH-53 crew chief/doorgunner. One of only three selected out of a twenty man shop to troubleshoot and operationally check aircraft electrical problems while in flight. The youngest ever selected within the squadron as Sikorsky CH-53 Quality Assurance Inspector. Performed repair, replacement and fault isolation of linear variable differential transducers (LVDT), and hydraulic servo/servo valves. Organized and supervised weekly avionics training classes. Calibrated aircraft avionics systems using required diagnostic equipment. Performed fault isolation of all aircraft electronic systems using complex schematics and test equipment. Repaired or replaced both crimp and solder type connectors and related aircraft wiring.
