Having taken time off to do major work on my house I’ve completed enough to comfortably re-enter the job market. I cannot claim that the experience has made me a master carpenter but I can say this about my employment experience; • Overall 33 years in the Computer and Data Storage industry. • 22 of those years in Engineering groups as both a Technician as well as a Logic design Engineer. • iSCSI and Midplane designs from concept through release to manufacturing. • Documentation and spec. writing for release through ECO process. • Design verification from signal analysis to compliance testing including EVT, DVT, triple margin, ESD, and EMI. • Test and troubleshooting experience from component level through system level of a wide variety of designs and board types. • Experience with complete integration of EMC Clariion data storage arrays. Specialties: • Allegro Concept and Mentor Graphics ViewDraw schematic capture. • Polar and Wavecrest TDR impedance measurement. • Signal measurement with Tektronix and other Logic Analyzers and Oscilloscopes. • Mentor Graphics Hyper Lynx signal timing simulation. • Design verification testing and Compliance verification testing. • Triple margin environmental testing. • iSCSI I/O board and Data Storage Processor midplane designer. • Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
