THERE WERE 8 REGIONALS AND 90 DISTRICT ASSETS PROTECTION MANAGERS. WE ALSO HAD OUR OWN ALARM CENTERS FOR SONITROL COVERAGE ON ALL STORES AND DISTRIBUTION CENTERS. WE ALSO PROVIDED SECURITY& SAFETY FOR THE 6 DISTRIBUTION CENTERS.
Managed the Southeastern United States stores, overseeing up to 360 stores, 10 District Loss Prevention Managers and approximately 50 Front Line Assets Protection Supervisors. Job included camera surveillance installation in all stores, training of Frontline personnel and store management teams, security and safety audits and shrinkage reduction efforts through visits and internal store investigations.
Managed Loss Prevention issues in 12 stores. In the beginning of Loss Prevention at Big Lots the shrinkage was 6%- 12%. The Vice President of Loss Prevention began a program that included more involvement in all aspects of store operations to help reduce the out of control shrinkage.
