Passionate about using technology for good causes, like healthcare and wellbeing. As a VR Designer, I've created and implemented bespoke software solutions in virtual and augmented reality, specifically for healthcare and education. I have a BS in Computer Games and Programming Skills from the University of the West of England, where I learned valuable skills in game design, programming, and user experience. My most recent project was with the NHS, where I developed a VR training simulator for student doctors, using gamification techniques to enhance their learning and engagement. Previously, I worked as a Project and Technical Support Engineer at getUBetter, a digital health startup that provides mobile app solutions for musculoskeletal conditions. I provided technical support for a team of physiotherapists, and contributed to the development and improvement of the app, using feedback and data analysis. I also have experience in public relations, communication, and leadership. I have served as a Student Ambassador, a Student Representative, and a Treasurer and Publicity Officer for various student organizations.

Backpacked across the US, South America, Asia and Oceania for 11 months while working remotely on my self-employed projects.
A 'many hats' role for a digital health startup. I assisted the COO in project delivery, by working with our UI designer and development team to design, rollout and test new features over development cycles. I devised a procedure to transcribe and translate over 900 exercise and advice videos into 9 different langauges. I was responsible for customer support and technical support for team members. I also managed the IT infrastructure for the team, ensuring our systems were secure enough to earn certification which allowed us to integrate with NHS IT systems. I was also responsible for setting up new devices, on-boarding new colleagues as well as delivering cyber security presentations. As well as this, I created documentation for our IT systems and a disaster recovery procedure. The role included some social media management too.
