Responsible for construction Management and co-ordination of multiple projects and contractors for the Bacton Gas Plant. Principle member of the selection team to nominate EPCm contractor for the Bacton Rejuvenation Project. Instrumental in mobilising and onboarding the EPCm contractor at Bacton site ensuring a seamless transition into the project team at site. Prime focus was developing a synergy in behaviours etc with regard to existing projects and operations teams. Single point of contact for all construction activities to Plant Manager on this total brownfield development

Construction Manager responsible for all BP assets within the contract. 7 offshore installations,3 onshore sites. Managing a team of onshore and offshore construction engineers/superintendents. Providing construction input to design whilst providing a support function to each business unit. Scope includes multiple shutdowns and ongoing asset development.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, responsible for the execution of two projects from the shore base and offices in Warri. Areas of responsibility encompassed financial control in addition to operational and technical matters. The two projects undertaken had a combined contract value of 35M USD. Installation and commissioning of 37 km of 33kv, and 31km of 11 kv submarine power cable both with fibre optic cores for Shell Petroleum Development Corporation of Nigeria (SPDC). The refurbishment of the Crude Loading Platform (CLP) offshore Forcados also for SPDC. This brownfield SIMOPS project encompassed the refurbishment of the CLP including the change-out of the three main export spools and conversion to operate as a NNMI. Overseeing all procurement both overseas and local including in country clearance, mobilisation offshore, installation and commissioning. Responsible for some 35 Ex Pats and a local staff of 140, this position required expertise in dealing with local communities and all the inherent problems of working in the Delta region of Nigeria. Additionally involved in preparing and submitting bids for projects within Nigeria for the Oil Majors.
Responsible for the Construction Management and co-ordination of the decommissioning activities associated with the Inde field Offshore UK Sector. The scope included, Plug and Abandonment of 16 wells using the Rig-less abandonment technique. The preparation of 3 Topsides and Jackets for removal using the reverse installation Method. Additionally two further complexes consisting of 3 jackets and topsides were decommissioned using piece small removal methods and preparation for lift of the MSF and jackets. Interface management and co-ordination between Well Engineering, Main Contractor and Heavy Lift Contractor was a major challenge in a project of this complexity. The main focus areas were HSE, Quality, Schedule and Budget. Input to all safety case submissions including HAZID, Readiness and Constructability reviews. Focal point for UK HSE visits offshore.
