I Have 40 years of manufacturing experience most of which involved direct responsibility of managing people, resources and the manufacturing process. A large part of my experience has been working with engineers and refining their applications for practical manufacture processing. I have a working knowledge of solid CAD, utilizing Solidworks software. For the last 14 years I held the responsibility of the estimating new projects, reviewing existing work in process, profit, loss, budgeting and cash flow. Hired as sales manager to work with sales represenitives and manage customer accounts. In 1994 I was promoted to Vice President and installed on the Board of Directors. I had the responsibility for all plant operations and profit and loss. I installed and directed our mid management team. I was the main contact for communicating with customers in regard to sales and estimating. I have extensive experience working with engineers to designing castings from fabrication, forging and engineering concepts utilizing Solidworks solid modeling CAD system. I was responsible for the design and procurement of tooling and manufacturing equipment. I was responsible for the implementation and certification of ISO 9000 quality standard. I was responsible for implementing computer recording and production planning.
Purchased die castings, die cast tooling and outside machining services for the Lionel Train product. I solicited bids, negotiated with suppliers for the production of die cast components.
Review new state of the art equipment and process for a planed plant expansion to Ogden Utah.
Supplied tooling such as master patterns, models and mold as well as and machining services for the Investment casting industry and various industries.
