Performed PTA to determine effectiveness of the existing stimulations and average reservoir pressure. • Reviewed suspended SW Saskatchewan field for remaining potential under waterflood and EOR potential. Provided scheme for tertiary EOR, and economics of various scenarios. • Created development strategy for S.E. Saskatchewan Mississippian Oil play based on the determination of remaining recoverable reserves and the value of accelerated recovery using HMSF wells
• Determined suitability of tight clastic play for horizontal development and waterflooding. Reviewed and adjusted PVT analysis, conducted pressure transient analysis, reviewed production trends, identified well interference, history matched individual wells for insight on reservoir behavior and damage mechanisms. • Sr. Production Engineer and the Badila Field Superintendent (Dual role) on rotation in South Chad. Provided studies and recommendations for frac design, well optimization, facilities design, sand control for both light and heavy unconsolidated sands, ESP design, waterflooding, and other operational issues. General duties have included providing reports to head office and supervising and mentoring engineers and technicians while overseeing all of the operations in the Badila field and camp.
Project: Slave Point Waterflood · Reviewed all available PVT, special core analysis, pressure surveys etc for use in evaluating the potential and designing the expansion of waterfloods in the Otter, Sawn and Red Earth Slave Point carbonates.
