Substations at residential & commercial subdivisions: Perform soil resistivity testing & develop soil models via earthing software. Calculate combined earthing resistance of transformer networks. Calculate max loaded touch potential at pipeline at fault level currents to confirm compliance with AS4853. Prepare EPR reports to obtain Water Corp/ATCO gas approval. Calculate step & touch voltage contours during fault conditions via earthing software. Verify voltage contours in vicinity of pipeline assets via current injection testing. Calculate voltage contours at fault levels & complete site verification test reports to obtain Water Corp / ATCO gas approval. Prepare earthing design recommendations and monitor drilling to ensure electrodes installed to depth necessary to meet Western Power requirements. Perform fall of potential earth resistance testing at substation via injection testing. Site verification test reports to demonstrate compliance with AS2067 to obtain Western Power approval to energize.
