Multi-disciplined professional with experience and knowledge as a CEO, Project Director and General Manager in construction, infrastructure and natural resources projects.  Experience includes a multi-billion portfolio in resources and non-process infrastructure, commercial and public infrastructure, and a number of major infrastructure projects as client-side Project Director, Brookfield Place in Perth WA (the BHP building), Optus Stadium (WA), the Clarence Correctional Centre (Grafton, NSW), CEO/ Project Director East Rockingham Waste to Energy plant (WA) and more recently the new Perth Conference & Exhibition Centre redevelopment proposal. - former Barrister and Solicitor (WA and SA) - MSc (Distinction) WA School of Mines (Kalgoorlie) graduate medal winner. - post grad Project Management studies at Said Business School. - Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (1994 - not current) - Member of the Australian Institute of Energy and the Risk Management Assoc of Australia.

    One of the most important and complex city-scaping large scale projects proposed for Perth City with multiple foreshore commercial developments including the highly complex brown and greenfield redevelopment of the existing and a new Convention Centre, approx 80,000sqm, including multiple public interfaces with City of Perth Roads, PTA (Main Roads, Rail and Busses) realignment and traffic control integration, creation of road tunnels under the development deck, refurbishment of the Perth City bus port and concourse, potential major upgrades to the Elizabeth Quay train station, and capping the Mandurah rail line. Major diffuse and often non-aligned stakeholder base requiring clarity of purpose and outcome in navigating the siloed approvals processes within the Govt. Project has reached 30% design completion and State Treasury are currently considering competing funding implications with other expenditure priorities and how possibly to stage the project in the future.

    East Rockingham is a first-generation residual municipal waste to energy project in Australia utilising world's best practice technology developed and applied by HZI across 500 projects globally in major cities across Europe, UK and Asia which will treat 300,000 tonnes of red-bin waste, produce 28MW of electricity via thermal ans steam turbine and reduce landfill by 97%. Project is commissioning and going into operations. The project encompasses best-in-class sponsors and shareholders (Masdar Tribe Energy, John Laing, Acciona and Hitachi Zosen Inova), market-leading senior lenders (NAB, SMBC, ABN AMRO, KfW-IPEX and Mizuho), the Australian Commonwealth Government (CEFC and ARENA), a leading waste management partner and operator in Violia and construction by Acciona and HZI.

    • Project Director - Optus Stadium - Westadium Consortium (John Laing/ Multiplex/ BGIS)

      Westadium consortium was responsible for the delivery - design, construct and financing - and 25-year maintenance of the 60,000 - 70,000 capacity Perth (Optus) Stadium under a PPP with the Govt of Western Australia (as client), Multiplex (Design and Construct) and Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (FM and Maintenance) sponsored, arranged, financed and managed by John Laing. The project was successfully delivered on schedule and is fully operational.
