France
I like bringing people together, I like getting things done and helping other people get things done. I love coaching but sometimes I get caught out by my 11-year-old using the same tactics with him that I use at work. I am passionate about learning new things and developing new skills but whatever the subject I always look for the opportunity to work with others to get the job done. I spent a lot of my career in the automotive fluids industry and today I find myself at the centre of the digital transformation of the energy industry, working with designers, data specialists, developers, agile specialists and all of the other roles that come together to keep the wheels turning (HR, safety etc. in case that wasn't clear), but most of all with end users stretching from subject matter experts in our businesses and in R&D to operators working on FPSO's 200km offshore. It's a fascinating world! I speak good French with an appalling accent. I will henceforth forgive anyone their accent when they speak English, (even native English speakers). I am a serial hobbyist: I garden, brew beer, make sourdough bread, make things from wood, code, play games (physical and electronic), ski, board, play golf, badminton and all the other sports life has given me the opportunity to try. I listen to too many podcasts on psychology, history and science.
