About

I'm a software developer who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, and these days at the leading edge of applied AI. Over the past several years I've built enterprise analytics and AI systems from start to finish: data pipelines across Snowflake, Azure, and AWS, LLM assisted SQL and DAX tooling, and full Python applications and agentic workflows that wire large language models into real enterprise systems. The throughline has never changed. I turn raw data and ambiguous problems into clear, dependable systems people can act on. My career started in finance and consulting, where I managed client relationships, automated reporting workflows, and learned to translate complexity into decisions people could actually make. I pivoted into technology in line with my educational background, which spans formal computer science and hands on technical schooling [confirm/name], designing scalable dashboards, automating ETL, and embedding AI into reporting pipelines to speed up decision cycles. Along the way I founded and ran a small trading analytics operation, building everything from sentiment driven ingestion layers to backtest frameworks and live execution dashboards. Most recently, as a Senior Software Developer on the HR AI team at BSCI, my work runs straight through applied and agentic AI. I explore where AI can deliver real value, rapidly prototype lightweight but scalable MVPs, and present working solutions to leadership, increasingly advising on the org design, budgeting, and technology strategy behind how AI actually gets adopted. Much of my craft stays in Python application development. At C.H. Robinson I built custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers on a plugin design architecture, a modular system that lets a developer toggle context sources on and off to feed IDE based AI coding assistants exactly the right context at the right time. It reflects how I like to build: composable, well structured, and designed around how people actually work. I'm energized by opportunities where data and software fuel strategic decisions and cross functional teams collaborate to solve complex challenges. I value clear communication, translating technical detail into business value, mentoring, and leading agile work that keeps getting sharper. Outside of work, you'll find me on the soccer field, playing chess or D&D, enjoying a glass of wine, or plotting my next travel adventure. Experience

  • Senior Software Developer, AI & Automation at Boston Scientific
    Mar 2026 - Present · 5 mos

Founding member and lead developer of the HR AI team, responsible for identifying, prototyping, and presenting high-value applications of AI and agentic automation to HR leadership. I translate ambiguous, often-undefined business problems into working proof-of-concepts, lightweight but scalable MVPs delivered fast as well as advise on org design, budgeting, and technology strategy for AI adoption. Explore, prototype, and present AI and agentic capabilities to HR leadership across known and unknown use cases, turning open-ended ideas into demonstrable MVPs for non-technical stakeholders. Build AI prototypes end to end (back-end to front-end) with an emphasis on lightweight, scalable solutions that reach a minimum viable product fast. Built an AI-driven HR case triage and routing system that classifies incoming employee cases by intent, recommends or auto-routes to the correct service queue, and returns a confidence score with supporting rationale — improving intake accuracy and reducing manual effort. Engineered a staged automation model with confidence tiering (recommend vs. auto-route) and human-in-the-loop review, prioritizing explainability and minimizing misrouting risk in a sensitive HR context. Developed a platform-agnostic LLM evaluation framework to benchmark models (Claude, GPT, Snowflake Cortex) and vendor platforms (ServiceNow, Snowflake, Moveworks) head-to-head on identical test cases — giving leadership objective, evidence-based build-vs-buy comparisons. Applied multi-agent orchestration, RAG / semantic search, and shadow (read-only) execution patterns to deliver safe, auditable AI workflows. Increasingly partner with leadership on technology consultancy, organizational design, and budgeting for the AI roadmap.
