Asset Data Manager for the consortium of Thales-Strukton, supplier for the Signalling Programme Fjernbane Infrastructure West ERTMS Project. My responsibilities as Asset Data Manager within the Consortium of Thales-Strukton Rail covers: * Fulfil internal and external requirements for asset data during installation * Quality assurance and inspection activities of documents and products prior to delivery for installation and/or FAT, ensuring that asset data and engineering are aligned * Perform quality inspections on-site to ensure that hardware and object installed have correct labelling and/or signs fulfilling norms and requirements of the customer * Populate and build up internal SAP with asset data of installed hardware * Provide support and guideline for maintenance topics within the Consortium * Consult with back-office and/or sub-suppliers to improve their processes for better quality deliveries to the project Thales together with Balfour Beatty Rail (as of 1 April 2014 Strukton Rail) as consortium partner was awarded by Banedanmark, the Danish infrastructure owner, the contract to re-signal half of the Danish Main Lines on 31 January 2012. By 2023 nearly 1200 km of railway lines across Jutland will have ERTMS (European Train Control System) level 2 installed.
