Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences, focusing on renewable energy systems. Wrote a thesis on agrivoltaics, exploring synergies between agriculture and solar PV systems. Currently acting as Project Development Manager for Merus Power, developing Battery Energy Storage Systems with Merus ESS technology.
Project manager in New Business Development. Our team handled all new ventures in renewable energy outside from Energiequelles core wind business. My work has involved a large variety of tasks and topics on different areas. Battery Energy Storage Systems - Developed BESS business model from greenfield to commercial projects alongside our team and helped secure a project pipeline of 500+ MW. Responsible for project management of a 125 MW standalone BESS project. Hydrogen/P2X - Assisted with greenfield analysis of potential H2/P2X projects and helped secure three projects. Acted as project manager for one H2 project with a goal of building a consortium covering the whole value chain from production to consumption. Photovoltaics - Delivered technical modelling and feasibility assessments for solar projects, supporting the development of PV projects totalling almost 1000 MWp. Responsible for developing innovative agrivoltaics concept, successfully proving the feasibility through simulations. Designed an implementable agrivoltaic research project waiting for investment decision in cooperation with several universities. Additionally - Participated in multiple funding calls and grant applications, helping secure significant grants for multiple projects. Collaborated with universities on applied R&D initiatives in agrivoltaics, power electronics and energy resiliency projects.
I wrote my Bachelor's thesis on agrivoltaics as a commission for Energiequelle Oy. - Researched and analyzed technical and economic synergies between agricultural land use and solar PV systems, focusing on land efficiency, crop compatibility, and energy yield - Contributed to early-stage solar project development through feasibility assessments, data analysis, and workflow support - Gained a strong understanding of renewable energy permitting, site evaluation, and multidisciplinary project coordination
Summer internship in the mechanical maintenance team of district heating plants. - Main tasks were hands-on mechanical maintenance of district heating power plants (5-50 MW) in Turku area. - Gained practical experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems. Also, how important it is to take maintenance activities into consideration when designing facilities. - Developed a strong understanding of thermodynamic power generation processes applicable to a wide range of plants.
I worked as a part time-employee at parcel sorting central. Main task was driving a pallet truck.
