I lead the strategic deployment of fiber optic networks and fixed services at Vodafone Qatar, ensuring seamless connectivity across large-scale projects. One of my most significant achievements was spearheading the fiber infrastructure for FIFA 2022, where I deployed redundant DWDM connectivity across 80 locations, including stadiums, training facilities, and entertainment hubs. Additionally, I played a key role in establishing Qatar’s 2AFRICA submarine cable landing station, implementing diverse routing strategies to enhance high-bandwidth connectivity for hyperscale data centers. My expertise extends to engineering advanced 5G fiber backhaul solutions, interconnecting over 3,500 GSM sites to support next-generation mobile services. Beyond technical execution, I focus on financial optimization, vendor negotiations, and performance benchmarking. Managing multi-million-dollar CAPEX & OPEX budgets, I ensure cost-efficient network expansion and infrastructure deployment. At SPECTRAL Link LLC, I played a pivotal role in expanding FTTx deployment across Oman by introducing innovative narrow trenching techniques, which significantly reduced civil work costs and accelerated fiber rollout. I also oversaw large-scale microduct installations and fiber-blowing operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. A key focus of my role was training and developing specialized fiber deployment teams, including civil work personnel and fiber-blowing specialists. By implementing industry best practices and optimizing workforce efficiency, I improved project timelines and network scalability.
