I have been fortunate to build an extensive career in international higher education, deeply rooted in academic leadership, student outreach, and institutional strategy. I currently serve as the Dean of Admissions and Outreach at IE University and as a full-time professor of Marketing. In addition to my role at IE University, I am honored to serve on the Board of The Common App (USA), supporting initiatives that promote access, equity, and integrity in the global admissions process. Additionally, I am proud to have previously served as Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Council of International Schools (CIS). Furthermore, I am a member of the Strategic Higher Education Advisory Council (SHEAC) at Cambridge International, the International Baccalaureate (IB) European University Council, and the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. I also actively engage with key international organizations such as the College Board, the IC3 Movement in India as a member of the Presidential Forum Committee, and the European Universities Consortium (EUC). Through these networks, I contribute to global education forums, fostering innovation and advocating for increased access and opportunities in International Education. The Common App Board of Directors is a governing board charged with setting the direction of the organization, advancing the mission, ensuring long-term financial health and sustainability, and guiding strategic policy decisions. The Common Application, a key player in the international higher education landscape, is a non-profit membership organization representing more than 1,100 diverse institutions of higher education. It connects applicants and those who support them to a wide array of public and private colleges and universities across all 50 U.S. states and 40 countries, making a global impact in higher education.
Member of a selected group of Higher Education Admissions and enrollment leaders whose main goal is to assist and guide the IB Organization in anticipating future challenges and opportunities in international education.
A group of key higher-education institution leaders from 12 European countries. We will work and exchange ideas and solutions for the future of international admissions and qualifications contributing to raising Cambridge's profile among the global university enrolment management community. We focus on helping Cambridge Assessment's mission of democratizing access to higher education while maintaining rigor, including shaping the next generation of programs, services, and resources.
